Well, yesterday was my birthday. It was a generally normal day until the evening, when we purchased a cake and celebrated at home. Half way through reading my card, I started crying. It's weird that an occasion as happy as this can overlap with such miserable times. My grandma is recovering well, but still hallucinating. However, my grandpa was diagnosed with cancer in the esophagus which can only be medically removed with radiation. We're praying that he'll recover, but he still needs to make a decision about what to do. As of now, he's trying to live a normal healthy life, so we're suporting him all the way.

So, nothing much exciting (in a good sense) has been happening while I'm over here. Doing a lot of hospital visiting, rehabilitation center exploring, and, of course, eating fabulous food. Kikko (my aunt) just got two tickets to see Real Madrid, the world's MVP soccer team, kick Japan's ass. That means Beckham, Ronaldo, Zidane, and Roberto. Also, the Hives are going to be playing in Japan on the day before my sister flys in, so I'm not sure if I have anyone to go with, but if I can go on my own, it would make me happy. (Not likely to happen though...)

So, that's that.
