Bit dead around here, innit?

In hopes of livening things up, I will just type whatever comes to mind, whether post worthy or not.

Yesterday, I went to Shibuya with my mom to purchase my ticket to gay Pari'. I will be leaving on the twentieth. Although I was planning to go to Spain with Mia, we decided that it's silly to only spend two days there, rushing around, when we could just take our time mingling with Parisians. Hell yes.

I swear, if that dog doesn't stop barking...

*waits*

That's it.

*grabs twelve gauge and tronces off to kitchen*

So, after going to the travel agency, my mom and I went on a rare but intense shopping rampage. My mom spoiled me with shoes, undergarments, sandals (something I actually needed), and... umm... actually, I can't remember what else, if anything. It was exhausting though, because we looked at an electronics store to check out all sorts of prices for various reasons.

I love Guero. The intro of this one song (Missing) is really appropriate right now.

I prayed heaven today
would bring its hammer down on me
and pound you out of my head
I can't think with you in it.

In other words, I have someone on my mind and I CAN'T CONCENTRATE because of them. It's really pathetic, but I think I'm getting to the point of obsession. It reminds me of when I was in Denver Airport a few years ago, expecting Craig Nicholls to come up around every corner. Like, today I was preparing what to say if he were to come down the escalator at the train station or be on the same platform. *sigh* I'll say it again. Pathetic.

Oooh, yes. Backtrack. On the last day of finals, Monica and I were finished at around 1:30, but the busses didn't leave until the normal time, 3:15. So, since we were free to enter and exit the campus as we wished, we went to the park next-door. It was great fun, but there was a mental hospital having a field trip, so there were a few... strange moments. It was great though. I love parks and nature, especially after living in this city.

So, it's officially summer and maybe tomorrow, it will click that this isn't just a normal weekend. (It's been two days so far.) The weather should be hint enough. I'm getting weird seasonal affective disorder headaches. Baaah... it's the transition from fairly warm to blistering hot that I just can't take.

It pisses me off that Japan thinks that it can charge 1,000 yen more for a CD than "normal" price, just because it has three bonus tracks on it. Damn them!!

Today, I was supposed to meet up with Monica at the south exit of Shinjuku train station. Shinjuku is like... the meshing point of all of the major train lines running through Tokyo, and it turned out that Monica's line didn't have a south exit. We spent forty-five minutes on cellphones, searching for each other. Not only was she on the other side of the district, but she was on a different level of land with an open top. She was in this... downward vortex of taxi pickup space. We could see all of the same buildings but our orientation was completely off. Finally, when she decided to bring to my attention that she wasn't on ground level, I found her. Huzzah for cell phones.

After a short fling in Shinjuku, we went to her house and watched Bevis and Butthead Do America (as good as ever) and Napoleon Dynamite, which was funny but obviously overrated. Uncle Rico was hilarious though.

Right. I'm done.
