As usual, I have nothing profound to say, but here it goes. I do it all for you guys.
Today was a strange day. It started out really fantastically well. The reason? Kotooshu was the guest on Bistro Smap the night before. For those of you who aren't familiar with the show SMAP X SMAP, it's a silly program run by a boy band whose members can cook really well but can't sing to save their lives. Bistro Smap is the section in which they invite a celebrity and make food based on their request. For example, in Kotooshu's case, beef. It was funny, and even things that weren't made me giggle like a little school girl. Which is what I am.
So anyhoo, things went well until I got to history. We watched the second half of a video about the Dakota Conflict (formerly known as the Sioux Uprising) in which the Dakota tribe of Minnesota is cheated out of their money and land and, as a result, get fed up with white people, kill a couple, and then get hanged under the pretense that they're savage beasts. It was depressing, especially considering my current emotional/hormonal state. I couldn't sleep on the bus ride home and, in my grumpiness, made fun of a stupid British girl's fuzzy boots. She threatened me and I told her that, for the reason I mocked her, I couldn't take her seriously.
Fortunately, things turned up from there. After doing some homework at the apartment, Kikko came to pick us up and took a detour to the Mini dealer to get something strange checked out. We got free coffee and lollipops (the latter of which I took absurd advantage of) and then, on the unfamiliar route home, passed a restaurant called "B M Steakhouse." I giggled. Very loudly.
Oh yes, and Dad. Remember how mom said that the antenna was three-hundred some dollars? Kikko was off by a zero. It's thirty-some dollars. Nee hee hee.
Report cards this Friday. If I get any outstanding comments, I'll be sure to flaunt them here. Mia, February 10th is the Arrested Development marathon... if you didn't yet know.
RIGHT! Off to bed.
