BAHAHA! What a horrible layout. I'll do something proper when I have more time or feel like further procrastinating my studies.

Monday is Romi-chan's 60th birthday, so we decided to do something special for her. We had her thinking that the extent of it was going out for dinner, but little did she know that we secretly invited her son and daughter-in-law to come over for the weekend I met with them and the three of us went to the restaurant a little bit later than the others. When she realized what the hell was going on, she started crying. It was so cute!! Dinner was good and the waitress was crap at taking pictures, so none will be posted.

I should be studying for my AP US History exam. We're having mock tests on the 21st and the 25th, which will end up counting as our final exam score. The official AP US exam is on May 5th. I also have an AP English Language test on May 1st and the mock exams for that are on the same days as my history mocks. I believe those count as final exams too... hopefully. (It would make things much easier in June.) In any case, I remember very little about US History and my teacher seems to have pretty high expectations. On my third quarter report card (all A's, first time this year!), he wrote that I am "more than ready for the external exam in May." The reason it may appear that way is because all of the essay tests we did were on eras that we had just finished studying. But fortunately, unlike many of my fellow classmates, I've decided that I'm not going to stress myself out too much, study what I can, and improvise the rest. If I get a bad score, que será será. What will be will be... and Doris Day jumps out from under the sink.
"Doris, what the hell were you doing under there?"
"It was my fate! Que será será!"
"You weirdo!"

*cough*

I'm looking forward to the twenty-eighth, not only because I have a day off school (Golden... Day?) but because I will be notified regarding whether or not I got into the California College of the Arts summer program. Dad, did you end up getting the stuff sent in on time? I meant to ask earlier...

I love report cards. They make me feel so good about myself. Apparently I'm a "sophisticated" "deep thinker" and "bring a perspective to class that enriches the experience for everybody." My physics teacher enjoys my "kind, positive attitude towards everyone in class." Mrs. Calvillo hopes I will go on to do "many things exciting [sic.] in the art world."

Ho ho ho. I got a 1 (exceeds teacher expectations) for effort in Advanced Composition, Conceptual Physics, Japanese, and Advanced Drawing. Ass kissing? Certainly not intentionally...

Right. I should go be responsible for a bit.
