Alright, alright! Jeez. I suppose my limited internet time could be to blame but I have put off saying anything since I returned. Or since a little before since I returned.

I shall start on Thursday. Class was hectic, seeing as we needed to get all of our work up in the designated student gallery space and not everyone's work was complete. My teacher was flipping out, making girls cry, etc. It was a success in the end. We finished even before class time was up (despite Steve's insistence that we'd be setting up all night). There was a farewell dance that Patricia and I went to check out, but it was quite dull so we decided to go to Safeway instead. I had been refusing to go to the store since the beginning of the week, but my food supply was running dangerously low. (I had eaten my last piece of food earlier that day; the remains of a head of lettuce.) We bought mostly party food; sorbet, fruit juice, chocolate milk, canned peaches, and some good ol' Dr. Pep. On our way back to the dorms, we saw some large Oakland rats and ran into Alex and Camille, also on their way to Safeway, in search of cookie dough to fuel our all-night lounge party. It didn't end up being all night, seeing as people needed to pack, clean, but we squeezed Shaun of the Dead into our busy remaining hours.

On Friday, our teacher brought in cake, chips and apple juice (horray!) and we did a critique of either our zine or our Americanism poster. I had planned to meet with the Parents (who had driven up from Reno) during my lunch break, but the schedule was messed up, so I called them and told them to wander around or join our critique when they arrived. They did a combination of both. We had our final words and graduation "ceremony" (I sang Pomp and Circumstance) and dispersed to look at all of the work that was up. The president of CCA made a speech and then it was time to check out and leave.

Alexia and I were some of the first to check out. Her family friends from Berkeley had came and the mother-figure was taking pictures of everything. "Is that a rocking chair? *click* What nice beds. *click*" They went to the car to wait for Alexia and we said goodbye, hugged, and started crying. In a blubbering state, I went next door, grabbed Camille, and we went around and said bye to everybody. Nick: "Why are your eyes so red?" "I'm crying..." "Oh." Patricia decided to escort me to the car where the Parents were waiting and started crying on the way. We were both reduced to blubbering blobs of sobs and had a very memorable and touching farewell. Ah, I miss them guys...

I felt that I was in no state to stay in Oakland, so we drove northward to Petaluma where we stayed the night. The next day, we spent the morning in downtown Petaluma (cute!), had a Thai lunch and went from beach to beach in search of ship worms. We found none but got a very nice day of Californian landscapes.

We started Eastward towards Reno. Mom and I assumed that we were going to spend the night in Nevada but Pops didn't want to do any daytime desert driving, so we kept on truckin'... until we ran out of gas at one in the morning in the middle of nowhere. After having to deal with a stupid cop, we got the towing man to bring gasoline and went on our way once more. At 7 AM, we stopped at a casino on the Nevada/Utah border and had some breakfast while being bombarded with loud, cheesy music and lots of flashing lights. EEEEE. Nevada is so tacky and horrible.

And when we arrived home safely, we all passed out in the living room. The remaining part of the day was spent eating and sleeping some more.

Yesterday was our CONSUMER MONDAY!!!!! Dad had another day off work, so we went television hunting. Our ol' idiot box is about as old, if not older, than me. It was getting all washed out and had strange power problems, so we went and bought a flat screen tellie. (Not the wall mountable thin kind but a flat screened tube television.) We bought tons of groceries and ordered a refurbished Wacom tablet for spoiled me. Hurrah hurrah!

I think that's all I have to say for now. Monkey Island works and is fantastic. Unfortunately, number one doesn't save. I got about two-thirds of the way through to realize that. Rah rah rah.
