Sunday, September 10

Last night, we had a really massive THUNDER STORM! Change of seasons, warring fronts, you know the deal.

Yesterday (Sunday, that is), I mad an appearance in my first two tsugaru-shamisen performances since I returned to Japan. Very successful, I think. We gathered more of a crowd at the fesetival than any of the other acts. The festival was celebrating the 1,200th birthday of the shinto shrine at which it was held in concurrence with the Meguro sanma festival, during which tons of people cook a total of 5,000 fish and give one fish to each atendee for free. I was too late for that. I've never been, despite the fact that I live really close by.

I'm really horribly obsessed with House. I had a dream that we (the nuclear family) took Hugh Laurie out for dinner at a place that looked like a college dorm. This lady was going around, waking up naked college kids with pasteries and asking if it was worthwhile. Huh? I don't know. The show is taking over my brain though. EEEEEEE.

Gotta go. The bus will be coming.

Chu!
