Many apologies for the hiatus. There just hasn't been all that much going on.

Mom returned to Japan on Wednesday of last week. It's been wonderful to have her back.

I did hear about David Sedaris and I am incredibly excited. If all of the colleges that I apply to reply with acceptance and rejection notifications by the end of March (likely), I could visit my northeastern colleges in April and stop by Oberlin in the middle of my adventure. How excited I am. And tired. Oof.

School is fine and I haven't stayed up incredibly late since its start, mostly thanks to my dismissal from Debate. I had my first meeting with my counselor regarding college applications and such. He has been away for a few weeks because of a sickly father in the US, so we're off to a late start, which makes me want to get it done even quicker than I really need to. Thinking that I'd like to have the option of majoring in either graphic design or illustration, I have cut my list to about five schools.

All of this college research is making me fear the future. Eeeee. I'm sure I can get into CCA and the School of Visual Arts (both have acceptance rates of over 70%) but then Parsons, the Maryland Institute College of Art and the Rhode Island School of Design have rates of 47%, 45% and 35%, respectively. Cahoots! What a silly word used completely out of context. But it sounds frightened/shocked enough.

I have to do my Euro homework. I'm sorry for the boring entry. This is how things are going currently. (Ow. My hand.)
