My hair was getting heavy, so I got it cut. Twelve centimeters (five inches) to be precise (approximate). And while I was there, I decided to have it ironed for giggles and shits. Voila! It feels very nice. My shoulders and neck aren't feeling as stressed as they were before.

So, that sock I was knitting before turned out to be way too small (I started it before learning properly about gauge), so I started a proper one that follows a pattern I made using a special formula. Bwa ha ha ha ha... FORMULA X. It's fascinating. The toe just appeared out of nowhere after doing this strange series of wraps and turns and knit wraps and what not. I will take a picture once I get further. The going is quite quick. Or maybe the fact that I worked on it non-stop today has more to do with it. My right-hand ring-finger is numb. Boo. Hopefully the feeling will come back as quickly as it left.

In Japanese news, a woman gave birth to her granddaughter. Weird? I agree. The mother decided to use her mother as a surrogate mother. That child will inevitably be very confused at some stage in their life. I suppose they'll have a close relationship with their grandmother... ?

Temperatures are dropping suddenly and the fall jackets have finally made their appearance. I hear it's snowing where everyone else is, so I won't complain too much, but I really liked the nice, psuedo-summery weather we were having. Summery without the hellish humidity that is synonymous with Japanese summers.

I should be off to teeth brushing, face washing, and bed. Monday awaits with gaping jaws. I have a week to finish an AP Art project that I haven't even started. Perhaps I will retreat to the computer like I did the last time I was stuck in a similar jam. Jamb. Jamb statues. Damn! Art history assignment on Romanesque and Gothic styles due next Thursday.
