Last night, I revisited my life from April 2004 to May of 2005 via the archives of this blog. I was feeling nostalgic and realized that I've changed an awful lot since ninth grade. It's an interesting and effective form of self-enlightenment. If you have a journal or a blog or any other record of your personal history, take some time and look back upon yourself.

I'm excited because there are two days between me and spring break and five between me and my bonny hometown. No doubt the visit will be hectic, but I have a feeling it will be a nice reintroduction to friends and region, maybe a prelude to visiting more when I'm living in the mid-atlantic for college? We'll see how things go. Updates should exist here.

Today, when my mom and I got on the train to come to my grandma's house, we were shocked to find that there was no one in the car that we always ride. About five seconds after entering said car, we realized why. It smelled like urine and the culprit was this old woman that I've seen/smelled once before. My friend said she saw her sleeping on the train once and was worried that she was dead and decomposing in the train. We moved to the next car, the near end of which still contained her stench, and wondered how it was that someone gets so stinky.

I have a Russian Revolution, take-home essay for European History that was due on Monday. I talked to my teacher and he said "whenever you have it done," which is a terrible thing for me to hear. Since that, I've completed the twenty-two multiple choice and still have two times essays to write. Ah haha. I've given myself a deadline so I'll have it done before spring break. Man. This senioritis thing is getting a little scary.

Um, what have I missed. Oh yes. Monica's birthday extravaganza. In brief, Mo, Me, Ruri, and Hinako had an Indo-riffic dinner, had cake at her house and Ruri split. Hinako, Mo and I went to Shibuya and played HOUSE OF THE DEAD 4 (which is quite possibly the most awesome thing on the face of this earth) and did some purikura. We went for some karaoke, Erica showed up for a bit and behold, it was very fun. Brief indeed.

I think it's time for me to go to sleep. GOO NIGHT.
