Wow. It's been a while. I suppose quite a bit has happened since graduation.
Logically, after-grad was after graduation. I didn't eat any dinner, which made a big, unfortunate difference. It was an adventure, nonetheless. Or maybe as a result. I don't know. I made a few acquaintances. Horray for social lubrication.
On Tuesday, I went to school with Mia after hanging out with one of my new acquaintances in Kichijoji. At school, we printed t-shirts and I paid for a book that I think I turned in. Oh well.
Three days after that, our family went north to Nagano to clean up my grandma's country cabin. It was fun. I realized my affinity for cleaning windows and my addiction to the internet.
Dad left on the 17th for Utah and Mia left on the 19th for Beijing.
On Wednesday, I went to a all-you-can-eat, all-you-can-drink establishment with a really random group of people from school. I spent time with some people I realized that I should have gotten to know earlier on. Last night, I went to Shibuya and met up with a few folks for dinner and arcading. Jeannie showed us a really cheap arcade and I played DDR for the first time in my life. I have finally attained the right to check the Asian box on standardized tests.
Today, I had lunch with Mom, Nahna and two family friends that I haven't seen since I was three-ish. They live within two hours of Saratoga Springs, so I'll probably see them again before another fifteen years go by.
One month until my 18th birthday. I'm tired and irrationally angry. I feel like killing a small dog or taking a three day nap. That's all for now.
