The first leg of my early-summer adventure has begun! My last final was on Wednesday afternoon. Once I was completely finished, I had no idea what to do with myself and watched the second half of the second season of the Venture Bros. before doing some more packing and lazing about. In the evening, I hung out with Danl and Gulia before turning in relatively early. Thursday was another day of packing and vegetating. I had a celebratory dinner at China Wok with Joe, Courtney, Tess, Henry, John, and others before returning to campus for some more celebratory madness. After some time in Joe's room, I went down to Alpine and hung out with Hannah, Olive, and Assprak before the senior-week kick-off party started. It was eventually hopping. Most of the people I needed to say goodbye to showed up. I was having a blast but the evening came to an unfortunate end when a belligerent broheim smashed a girl's head through a window in an attempt to get into the house.

I was a mess on Friday morning but got over it in time to finish packing and say some goodbyes. Hannah's mom, Chris, drove up to get us and we spent the whole day moving all of our things into a storage unit. Everything made it in, miraculously. Hannah, Olive, and I went to Ben and Jerry's, then back to campus to get Chris and say bye to Olive. The drive to MA was a lot of fun and meeting Hannah's family was great. (Her parents are incredibly youthful and cool.) We were all pooped and went to sleep after watching some Arrested Development. The fold-out bed was heaven compared to the crappy beds at Skidmore. I slept like a new-born babe.

Today's has been a day of transition and decompression. After sleeping in, we chilled and then did some extreme grocery shopping. Tomorrow, we're planning to go into Boston for Mother's Day. The possibility going to the Garment District was discussed. Being on vacation ROCKS.
