Well, after going to Monica's house on Wednesday, I came to the realization that her attitude, personality, general interests, etc. don't appeal to me in any way. I feel terrible saying stuff like this, but she's kind of just there to help me pass free time at school. For example, on the bus ride home, she was telling me about this friend of hers who had a scar on her forehead from sitting in the middle seat without a seatbelt...

"... and this guy came up to her and said 'that's quite a scar' and she was like 'at least I don't have scars from acne'. We used to call him Crater Face or Mr. Moon."
"That's really mean."
"No, it was funny."

Then, while we were in the Embassy compound, she wanted to go bother this kid who has some learning/social disability, just for the sake of making him angry. "If you hate him so much, why would you even bother going to his house?" "It's fun." She's obviously bored, but seriously, find something better to do. She's also excessively rude to her family, which is something that I disrepect a whole hell of a lot.

Although her mom said "Next time, sleep over!" in her broken English to me when she left, I don't think I'll ever be seeing Monica again outside of school. She's not really the type of person I want to befriend, especially if I have no chance of changing her irritating mannerisms.

You would think that people at a school in Japan would be a little more cultured and interesting, but it seems that the majority of them just block out the Japan and shield in their fabricated little America. It's fucking irritating, because they're all the same!!

Hope all's going well for those of you at home.

A special message to Tessa: Don't let the little one get on your bad side! If you get pissed off at him, it will serve as motivation to be more irritating. If possible, try to ignore and/or avoid him. Just stay cool boy, real cool... (da dum da da dum da da da da dum *snap* *twirl* *snap* *pliƩ*)
