So... I can imagine there are tons of bloggers going ballistic right now, but I just woke up, turned on the television and saw that Rumsfeld resigned. This is such an x-treme election. While the democrats aren't the best we could do, they're at least a turn in a better direction. I don't know enough about the process to be able to determine whether impeachment will be likely to pop up, but if we get a democratic Karl Rove character, maybe?
What an intense election. I have a feeling that what we're living right now is going to be a major issue in the history books of the coming centuries, a time in which everyone will be wearing foam boots and neon colored space suits. Watch me Nostradamus. And make verbs out of proper nouns.
On a more personal note, today is the first day of JUMP!, the ASIJ Japan Understanding Motivational Project, a name developed solely for its acronym. I am, again, on the cheapest trip, which doesn't leave the bounds of Tokyo prefecture. I wanted to go to Hiroshima with Mrs. Romaine but I didn't get in. At least this way I have lots of down time.
Breakfast time!!!
