The happenings of my not so interesting life: week 735

Well, I don't actually remember to the beginning of the week very much, but yesterday during gym, a kid sprained his ankle. Our current unit in physical education class is golf.

XD

But unfortunately, I won't have as funny a story to tell. He didn't sprain his ankle while putting on a little portable green. We were doing warm ups (suicides, sprints, butt-kicks, and other exhausting excersizes) when our teacher brought out these three cones of different sizes. They became hurdle-esque with these special plastic attachments. The first few exercizes, we ducked under the big one and jumped over the little ones. Eventually, our teacher has us jump them... about twenty gagillion times. Steven, an awkward oaf of sorts, landed the wrong way on his foot and became a gasping pile on the floor. I saw him after class trying very hard to use crutches (and failing) and told him to take care and get better.

Then, today, I went shopping with my aunt in Jyugaoka, this awesome shopping district only two train stations away from our home. We ate tai yaki, this yummy traditional Japanese food with a squishy, pancake-esque outside, filled with sweet bean paste, and shaped like a fish. It was soooo good and cheap too! (This should give you a general idea, although ours were much more tastey looking.) We continued on our shopping extravaganza and found ourselves in Uniqlo, this chain in Japan that has very simple, durable, and relatively inexpensive clothing. I bought a reeeaally comfortable black sweatshirt and an awesome winter jacket. Very fulfilling, especially if someone else offers to pay. :P

We shopped until our feet decided it was time to go home and that's where I am now, preparing myself for the happiness that will take over me when I see my dad tomorrow, emotionally and in terms of homework. Or at least I should be doing homework.

I also saw this purple tie in the window display of a suit shop and I thought, "the men I go out with in the future will look stunning in purple and pink." I was reminded of Daniel's wonderful pinstriped suit and purple shirt and tie. *sigh* Jyugaoka is awesome. There are a lot of really expensive, designer stores, but it's fun to look at what's popular and stuff. There are also a lot of independent stores that are still expensive, but really fun to look at. Makes you want an unlimited supply of money from some unknown and unexpirable source.

Realistic? I think not.
