It all started yesterday, when I tried to pee and it felt like there was a piece of gravel blocking my urethra. I kept waking up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night because my bladder was all "yo! I'm not empty, foo'!" In the morning, I came to the realization that my pee was murky with blood. In a wake-up call to Kikko, I worriedly explained the situation and she said to wait until eight or so, that we'd go to the doctor. I performed a wiki-supported self-diagnosis and came up with urinary tract infection.
After trying to catch up on a bit of the sleep I lost, Kikko arrived to pick me up and we went to a doctor near my grandma's house. He explained things in a way that was very easy to understand without seeming patronizing and threw in a little English here and there, thanks to his medical degree from UCLA. I gave him some of my pee and, in return, he gave me a prescription to some pretty antibiotics. I have to take two a day for five days and it should be better.
The blood has gone away but he gravelly feeling is still there. I never thought urinary excretion could take so much will power.
I CAN HAS CHEEZBURGER? has been keeping me from studying for the chem test I was meant to take today. It was a good day to miss school. The test can be made up tomorrow and we were just watching movies in English and Japanese. The Laziness is setting in all around school. The apparent stress of the approaching transition makes up for the fact that we aren't expected to do anything.
