I had a band practice Friday evening. My mother and I went to pick Luba up in Milesburg at around 11:00. We had tea upon arriving home and went to sleep.

In the morning, Luba and I went dress shopping. I ended up finding an awesome dress to wear to Morp in the 80's section of the Rag and Bone. Luba was searching for a dress for her promanade in CT, but did not find one. However, she did find one for morp, which she didn't end up wearing.

So, I went to practice and Luba went to Tessa's. Practice was fairly productive and we all prepared for our debut performance.

Quickly went home to get changed and then Anja picked me up again to go to Morp. We started setting up during Hello Sailor's set, but we could only set up so much as we were borrowing their PAs and amps.

Disaster strikes. Not only does Hello Sailor end late, but it takes at least ten minutes to move everything to the other side of the stage and set it up. So, we're left with a ten minute set and we've already eliminated one song due to the lack of piano mobility. The PAs don't pick up any of the sound from the mics, and the amp I'm on's bass is way too high. I have no idea how to adjust it, so I just leave it in its sorry state. We started and got cut off for not a very memorable reason towards the beginning of our first song. We started over, Anja forgot to sing at the end of the song, and her microphone was the only one that was really picking up at all. I think the combination of a spacey Anja, a nervous Theresa and Maggie, and an apathetic me didn't quite level out nicely. Either way, in the middle of the third song, Brittany Ford (aka Lesbian Nazi Bitch) stopped us and told us that this is our last song. If we had thought about it, we would have played our one other song which would only take about three minutes out of Dylan's band's 90 minute set. They were as irritating and blasphemous as usual, so Anja and I left early to the Simpson twins' birthday party. We endulged in some cake consumption as well as gift opening and happy conversation. Mia finally arrived and I nagged her (a third time) to take me to Tessa's. She eventually did, after dropping Ebony off, and I got to Tessa's almost on time. We looked at Tessa's pictures from morp (TESSA: burn those onto a disc and give them to me. I must get them to the yearbook staff.), watched some silly flash animation, and retreated into her room. We ate and drank junk food/drink, watched family guy, talked, and then fell asleep. This morning, we were woken up by a phone call from Luba's mom saying that her bus was leaving at 12:30. Luba had told us 5:00 in the evening... oops. So, we all got up and my mom came and picked me up. A rather unemotional parting, as it is very possible that I won't be seeing Luba for a few years. I got home, and am now working on stuff for the Delta yearbook, as it is due next Thursday.

Crap.
