GOOD EVENING, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN. I am Saya Signs and I will be debating second affirmative for the ASIJ E team.

Yes, fellas, another night of debate. The only one that technically counts for anything, although in my book, it is as meaningless as the rest. I am a party pooper. Poo poo poo.

Tonight was the junior varsity competition of the Kanto Plains debate league. I have a feeling Monica and I kicked some butt, but we won't know the verdict of the judge until tomorrow. If we end up losing though, we can blame it on the judge... because she tried to end the debate six-eighths of the way through.

"All of you ladies did very well..."
"We still have two more rebuttals to go."
"Oh... oh yes! I'm sorry."

... and better yet, it was the last night I had to debate!! WEEEEE!!!! OUIIIIII!!! SIIIIIII!!!! MUY BUENO!

Friday is the varsity debate tournament, so I will miss everything but pre-calculus first period. Excused absences not a bad deal, eh? Eh?! After the tournament is over, the team will go to dinner and everyone will say "horray! Debate is finally over! I'd be happy even if you smashed my ears in a vice and poured lemon juice into my empty eye sockets!!"

Ah, unfortunate thing is that we are going to have to buy a debate t-shirt regardless of whether or not we wanted one. Monica and I assumed that they would be payed for, as debate is a school sponsored club, but alas, 'tis not so. I didn't end up making anything that was t-shirt worthy as far as designs go, so it's just going to say DEBATE 2005 in really boring font in brown on blue. (Puke-a-riffic!) 2,000 yen!!! I think I may boycott it... or simply refuse to take one.

I must read for English and history now. I am over two chapters behind in AP US history. Not good. Not good at all. I just have no incentive to read until a week before an in-class essay test, at which point I don't have time or don't bother to make time. At least I know that any less that exceptional grade I get will be a true reflection of my effort and ability to fully comprehend this ridiculous amount of reading. Damn hard classes!

I wonder when we get our PSAT scores back. I want to see if I'm elligble for a National Merit scholarship...

Oh yes, and I added Advanced Drawing into my schedule next semester. Today I handed in my first AP Art piece that I'm really happy with. I will take a picture at some point.

GOOD NIGHT.
